Art Donation Form

Artwork eligibility

Thank you for considering donating artwork to the City! We support adding art in Grand Rapids' public spaces. Art may take the form of:

  • Monuments
  • Murals
  • Art on public property
  • Art installed in the public right of way
  • Installations on sidewalks and streets
  • Art on utility poles and cabinets
  • Temporary art exhibitions and displays

 

We're excited to learn more about your proposed donation. Let's first see if it's eligible. We require that donated artwork is compatible with the City's Art in Public Places Collection.

Will this art be permanently or temporarily given to the CIty of Grand Rapids?
 
Does it avoid a strong political affiliation statement, religious affiliation or commercial content?
 
Is it sensitive to diversity of the community's views, beliefs, values, and standards?
